Adventist Health gets stadium naming rights

Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health has acquired the naming rights to a stadium that is home to an NBA G League team.

The 12,000-seat Stockton (Calif.) Arena will be rebranded as Adventist Health Arena on Nov. 1, the Stockton Record reported Oct. 25. Opened in 2005, the stadium hosts the Stockton Kings of the G League and has featured concerts from such artists as Neil Diamond and Snoop Dogg.

"Our organizational mission is to inspire health, wholeness and hope, all of which contribute to happy, fulfilling lives," Adventist Health Lodi Memorial President Brooke McCollough, president of Adventist Health Lodi (Calif.) Memorial, told ABC10. We believe that this wonderful arena will provide numerous opportunities for residents and visitors to experience joy in many different ways for years to come."

Financial terms were not disclosed, but stadium general manager Jason Perry said it is a "multimillion-dollar, multiyear … partnership," according to the Record.
