Medical imaging company Visage has rolled out an adapter for the AWS-built Amazon HealthLake Imaging technology.
The Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform, announced at the annual Radiological Society of North America meeting, is built and engineered for CloudPACS. Amazon HealthLake Imaging works to help healthcare organizations automate processes for storing, analyzing and accessing medical imaging information on the cloud, according to a Nov. 27 Visage news release.
Visage is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus.
"If done right, PACS in the AWS cloud offers a new level of scalability, interoperability, security, and cost efficiency. With connection to Amazon HealthLake Imaging, Visage 7 customers will have even more flexibility to manage and unleash the value of their enterprise imaging data assets, with some innovative new options, for example in managing research data collections," Visage co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Malte Westerhoff, PhD, said
