Smile Digital Health becomes Amazon Health Lake partner

Health data integration company Smile Digital Health has passed an Amazon Web Service foundation technical review, making the company an Amazon Health Lake connector partner.

The AWS review assesses software vendors on mitigating and identifying technical risks. Smile Digital Health first partnered with AWS in March 2022, according to an Oct. 12 Smile Digital Health news release.

The partnership is designed to allow Smile Digital Health to format healthcare data that can be used in AmazonHealthLake applications.

“Our ongoing work with AWS demonstrates the deep collaboration between our companies, delivering the many benefits of the Smile Digital Health data fabric platform running in a world-class hyper-scale environment,” Smile Digital CEO Duncan Weatherston said in the release. “Having partner status provides our customers with substantial benefits including additional security, dependability and operational excellence.”
