In a press release, Mr. Yang established three pillars of digital health and wellness the company is focusing on:

  1. Sensor innovation: The BioActive Sensor, introduced in the company's Galaxy Watch4 series, combines three health sensors to provide users with comprehensive health data and actionable insights.

  2. Apps: The Samsung Health App allows users to record and compile health data and activity information. The app offers users guidance on leveraging that data to maximize health results.

  3. Healthcare collaboration: The company is seeking to continue cross-collaboration with leaders in technology and wellness with the aim of delivering better healthcare experiences to its users. Samsung is working with Google to develop Wear OS, and the company is looking to expand the potential for healthcare organizations to use its devices to enhance remote patient monitoring.
