Subscriptions to COMMpanion will cost $9.99 per month and be available to employees and students at participating organizations. Members get access to primary care providers, nurses and care navigators from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. via secure messaging, video chats and phone calls.

“It’s important to provide much-needed primary care where it’s most convenient for our patients,” said Chris LaCoe, BSN, RN, vice president of virtual health at Penn State Health, in a news release. “Subscribers will be able to connect with a provider within minutes, and keep in touch as often as necessary through the text and call functions.”

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
