Nebraska health system taps Epic-based virtual care partner

Lincoln, Neb.-based Bryan Health is partnering with KeyCare, an Epic-based virtual care company, to provide remote care across its system.

The KeyCare platform allows patients to receive 24/7 virtual care with licensed providers directly through the Epic platform, according to a Sept. 19 KeyCare news release. The company has agreements with 90 hospitals, 30,000 providers and over 20,000 providers.

Bryan Health partner Teledigm Health will also have access to KeyCare's tools.

"Virtual care offers a wonderful opportunity to extend access to patients who want the convenience of receiving urgent care from the comfort of their home or on the go, or those who live in rural areas or lack reliable transportation," Bryan Telemedicine and Teledigm Health COO Jill Hull said in the news release. "Our partnership with KeyCare will enable us to expand our ability to bring affordable, convenient and trusted virtual urgent care to the communities we serve."
