The health system selected AWS as its cloud provider. This move, according to a Feb. 13 news release shared with Becker’s, will allow Montefiore to improve scalability, enhance data security and drive cost efficiencies.

“Migrating to the cloud is a fundamental part of Montefiore’s ongoing technology transformation, allowing us to build on the digital advancements we’ve already implemented to provide a more agile, scalable and secure ecosystem,” Deepesh Chandra, senior vice president and chief digital and information officer of Montefiore Einstein, said in the release.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
