Georgia health system creates digital front door to simplify patient onboarding

Union County, Ga.-based Union General Health System partnered with digital health company, Qure4u, to create a new digital front door that simplifies the patient check-in and registration process.

The new digital front door will streamline the registration process, secure two-way messaging and have a contactless check-in system, according to a June 14 press release. The aim of the new digital front door is to create an easier and faster patient onboarding experience.

"The goal of our new partnership with Qure4u is ultimately to improve overall patient satisfaction and enhance our levels of patient engagement," said Nick Townsend, CFO of Union General Health System.

Union General Health System includes two hospitals, two nursing homes, a dialysis center, a wellness center, walk-in clinics and specialty clinics.
