Financial engagement platform Cedar is using Google Cloud's artificial intelligence tools to assist patients with their healthcare bills.
Cedar will use both Vertex AI and Generative AI App Builder to build AI algorithms. The tools will be able to coach patients and help them with their financial workflows, according to a news release.
"We're excited to continue our machine learning work in partnership with Google Cloud, using large language models and AI to drive toward our mission of making healthcare more accessible — especially given Google's approach to AI safety, which is necessary to ensure that the tools we develop are accurate, reliable and improve the patient financial experience," Kinshuk Mishra, head of engineering at Cedar, said in the news release.
