Best Buy Health rolls out virtual care-enabled smartphone for seniors: 4 details 

Best Buy Health on May 20 launched a smartphone equipped with virtual care capabilities that can connect older adults to urgent care and response services.

Four details: 

1. The phone, named Lively Smart, is the latest edition of Best Buy Health’s consumer health product line. In September, the retail company launched the Lively Flip, a flip phone equipped with Amazon Alexa voice assistance and telehealth features. 

2. Lively Smart users can opt into Lively Health and Safety Services, which can be accessed through the smartphone. 

3. Lively Smart offers 24/7 urgent care services, which let the user speak to a clinician without an appointment. No health insurance or co-pay is required. 

4. The smartphone also features an urgent response capability, which connects the user to an agent who can help 24/7 in cases of emergencies.
