Banner, Jefferson roll out digital mental health platforms for employees

Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and Phoenix-based Banner Health have both launched digital mental health platforms for their employees.

Jefferson Health has made the NeuroFlow platform available to 42,000 of its employees at both its university and health system. The platform provides personalized tools that are tailored to each user based on their responses to assessments and preferences. It prompts users to complete exercises like breathing, meditation and track their physical and mental health vitals.

"We believe this partnership, in addition to an expanded program for prioritizing holistic health and well-being, can make a true difference whether on the job or at home with family members," Bruce Meyer, MD, president of Jefferson Health, said in a Dec. 8 press release.

The mental health and well-being platform LifeSpeak has also been rolled out to more than 53,000 Banner Health employees.

LifeSpeak includes content like videos and podcasts from a range of experts in the field that deal with issues like building resilience, dealing with grief and depression.

"Our impact in healthcare is at its greatest when our employees are at their healthiest — both physically and emotionally," Naomi Cramer, executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Banner Health, said in the Dec. 8 press release.
