Aetna partners with digital health company on maternal health

Aetna Better Health of Maryland, a part of CVS Health, is partnering with digital health company Mae on improving maternal healthcare for Black women.

Under the partnership, Maryland’s Medicaid members will be able to access Mae’s engagement platform that helps patients track their physical, social and emotional needs during pregnancy and postpartum, according to an April 20 press release from CVS Health.

Mae will also provide pregnant patients with doula services.
