The national GeneMatch program uses genetic testing information to recruit participants for Alzheimer’s prevention studies. Under the agreement, Vantari Genetics and Translational Software will genotype volunteers interested in community-based research opportunities to help the institute select which participants are most appropriate for various studies.

The Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, a program of Banner Health, will also analyze genomic and molecular data from genotype tests to understand the genetic variants of volunteers, including their genetic risk for developing Alzheimer’s.
