PeraHealth, a Charlotte, N.C.-based data analytics company, will apply real-time information like lab results, vital signs and nursing assessments from Froedtert’s Epic EHR to quantify and predict patients’ risk for select diseases and conditions. The PeraTrend dashboard, for example, enables clinicians to visualize aspects of a patient’s condition and identify patients at risk for various health issues.

PeraAnalytics, the company’s retrospective analytics platform, displays patient metrics to help hospitals benchmark quality improvements over time.

With the PeraHealth solutions, Froedtert officials hope to support the early detection of physiologic changes, identify opportunities for earlier palliative care consultations, prioritize patient bedside visits and maximize capacity management in the intensive care unit.
