On June 22, Ambulnz by DocGo, a vendor that provides patient transport for UCHealth facilities, notified the health system that it suffered a cyberattack. According to a notice posted on UCHealth’s website, Ambulnz informed the health system that the attack may have impacted its patients.
UCHealth did not specify what kinds of patient information may have been involved in the Ambulnz breach but said the vendor had found no evidence of continued unauthorized activity.
Additionally, UCHealth said its IT systems and electronic health records were not involved in the breach and that it will update its patients once more information becomes available.
