Salesforce cybersecurity leader leaves company

Salesforce Chief Technology Officer of Security Taher Elgamal has left the software giant after 10 years at the company, Bloomberg reported Jan. 11.

The news comes after the company announced plans to lay off 10 percent of its staff.

Mr. Elgamal is joining cybersecurity venture capital firm Evolution Equity Partners as a general partner, according to his LinkedIn.
