35% of 3rd-party breaches affect healthcare

Healthcare organizations experienced 35% of third-party breaches, according to a Feb. 28 report from Security Scorecard.

Third-party breaches had the most significant impact on healthcare and financial services sectors, according to the report. North America witnessed 64% of all third-party breaches. 

The report also found that 98% of organizations have connections with a third party that experienced a breach.
