The first episode of the radio show will discuss the health impacts of social media. Providence envisions the radio station being a place where consumers can go to learn about healthcare trends, answer medical questions and discuss mental health.

Providence has created four programs for the radio station: Future of Health, Talk With A Doc, Talk 2 Be Well and Do Tell Mama.

Providence plans to release new programming stations in 2020.

“Future of Health Radio is a new way to connect people with useful and engaging health content,” said Orest Holubec, Providence’s executive vice president and chief communication officer. “Providence health experts will share their knowledge with consumers when and where consumers want to listen — in the car, plane, train, at home or the office, or while working out.”
