The five highest-earning executives at King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services, including its CEO and CFO, received higher overall compensation in 2025 than in 2024, according to an April 9 proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The for-profit system reported an operating income of $2 billion (11.5% operating margin) in 2025, up from $1.7 billion (10.6% margin) in 2024. Its net income grew to $1.5 billion, up from $1.1 billion.
UHS operates 29 inpatient acute care hospitals, 346 behavioral health facilities, 168 outpatient facilities, an insurance offering and a physician network in 40 states, Washington, D.C., the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico.
