For its list, job and recruiting website Glassdoor looked at 2019 salary reports submitted by employees, median annual base salary and job openings as of June 30.
A job title must have at least 100 salary reports from U.S.-based employees within the last year to be considered for the list. The list did not include C-suite level jobs.
Six healthcare jobs that made Glassdoor’s list, ranked according to median base salary:
No. 1 — Physicians ($193,415)
No. 2 — Pharmacy managers ($144,768)
No. 3 — Dentist ($142,478)
No. 4 — Pharmacist ($126,438)
No. 8 — Physician Assistant ($113,855)
No. 11 — Nurse Practitioner ($109,481)
