Physicians, pharmacy managers top list of highest-paying US jobs

The top four jobs on Glassdoor's annual list of the 25 highest-paying jobs in America are in healthcare.

For its list, job and recruiting website Glassdoor looked at 2019 salary reports submitted by employees, median annual base salary and job openings as of June 30.

A job title must have at least 100 salary reports from U.S.-based employees within the last year to be considered for the list. The list did not include C-suite level jobs.

Six healthcare jobs that made Glassdoor's list, ranked according to median base salary:

No. 1 — Physicians ($193,415)

No. 2 — Pharmacy managers ($144,768)

No. 3 — Dentist ($142,478)

No. 4 — Pharmacist ($126,438)

No. 8 — Physician Assistant ($113,855)

No. 11 — Nurse Practitioner ($109,481)
