The compensation structure for executives at the hospital “includes both a salary and bonuses of up to 45 percent of the annual base pay,” noted the report. The board voted to approve a $223,673 bonus in addition to Ms. Ryba’s annual salary of $800,300 for the 2015 to 2016 fiscal year. Reasons for the bonus were not discussed at the board meeting.
At the end of August, the board voted not to renew Ms. Ryba’s five-contract. Ms. Ryba agreed with the board’s decision, according to a hospital press release.
The board has started searching for both an interim as well as a permanent CEO.
