Northern Regional, a 133-bed hospital, is partnering with financial services company DailyPay to provide employees with access to their earned pay before their traditional payday, according to a Jan. 24 news release.
Through the partnership, employees can access their pay on a daily basis to pay bills, save, spend or invest as needed. Employees can request a free next-day transfer, use DailyPay’s debit card for free instant transfers, or pay a $3.49 transaction fee for an instant transfer.
“Offering on-demand pay by partnering with DailyPay is the newest way Northern Regional Hospital is working to meet employee needs, not only where they are today but where they strive to be tomorrow,” Christi Smiley, vice president of human resources at Northern Regional, said in the release. “Employees deserve immediate access to the wages they have earned. DailyPay allows us to make that happen.”
Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health also has a partnership with DailyPay to provide earned wage access to workers. More information is available here.
