The job eliminations are part of a strategy to cut 1,500 positions, unveiled in July. The decision came after Molina posted a $230 million loss in the quarter spanning April to June.
The most recent layoffs are in addition to the roughly 500 California layoffs Molina disclosed earlier this year.
