In December, hospital officials said the issue arose from a $200,000 error that involved payments from Medicare.
“The issues that had happened back in December related to the change of ownership from the old owner to the new owners,” administrator Kevin Couch told WYMT. “We did get that issue resolved with [CGS Medicare].”
CGS Medicare provides services for Medicare beneficiaries and healthcare providers, including healthcare claims processing and payment.
Mr. Couch said the hospital is working with its payers to ensure the hospital is getting funding, and payroll issues should be sorted out this week.
