HIV and ID: 53 percent
Oncology: 53 percent
Pathology: 52 percent
Psychiatry: 52 percent
Emergency medicine: 51 percent
Gastroenterology: 50 percent
Pediatrics: 50 percent
Urology: 50 percent
Critical care: 48 percent
Ophthalmology: 48 percent
Here are overall physician satisfaction rates for the 14 remaining specialties included in the survey:
Anesthesiology: 47 percent
Diabetes and endocrinology: 47 percent
Pulmonology: 47 percent
Radiology: 47 percent
Rheumatology: 47 percent
Family medicine: 46 percent
Cardiology: 45 percent
Plastic surgery: 45 percent
Internal medicine: 44 percent
Neurology: 44 percent
Obstetrics and gynecology: 44 percent
Orthopedics: 44 percent

Nearly 22,000 physicians responded to the survey.
