The survey also broke down CNO compensation by hospital bed size and by 50th percentile figures. CNOs at hospitals with up to 299 beds made $129,879 per year on average, and CNOs at hospitals with 300 or more beds earned $211,227 per year on average.
CNO compensation in the 50th percentile at hospitals with 299 beds or less was roughly $119,995. At hospitals with 300 beds or more, CNO salaries in the 50th percentile were $202,613.
