Greg Gombar. Executive Vice President and CFO of Carolinas HealthCare System (Charlotte, N.C.). In addition to overseeing the financial operations of Carolinas HealthCare System, which includes more than 900 care locations and 7,500 beds, Mr. Gombar also manages the system’s government relations. He has done so even since he became executive vice president in 1985. Mr. Gombar is a member of the Health Management Academy, North Carolina Association of CPAs and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
