Full Short-Term Disability Pay, Automobile Perquisites Most Common for Healthcare Executives, Survey Finds

A majority of healthcare organizations continue 100 percent of salary for executives during a short-term disability period, and the median salary replacement during a long-term disability is 60 percent, according to an Integrated Healthcare Strategies survey.

The survey also found the most common individual perquisite for healthcare executives is an automobile or automobile allowance. Roughly 86 percent of healthcare CEOs receive one or the other.
