Cigna Website Will Show Prices of More Than 200 Hospital Procedures

Health insurer Cigna announced it has launched a new website that will allow its customers to view and compare prices for more than 200 medical procedures and quality information on hospitals and physicians.

The website, myCigna.com, will allow those with Cigna coverage to look at price estimates on several common procedures, ranging from knee replacement surgery to child delivery. Customers can also compare the prices of those procedures among different hospitals and physicians.

Additionally, Cigna consumers will be able to see how much of the medical costs Cigna will cover based on the real-time status of their health plan deductibles, co-insurance and other health plan options before choosing their hospital or physician.
