The most obvious change was its name. In April 2012, the hospital changed its name from Memorial Health Center to Sidney Regional Medical Center after it merged with Sidney (Neb.) Medical Associates.
Ms. Utley also helped the 25-bed critical access hospital obtain financing from the U.S. Department of Agriculture this fall to build a new hospital.
Previously, Ms. Utley, a certified public accountant, was the CFO of Perkins County Health Services in Grant, Neb., from 2003 to 2005.
