CEO Salaries at Largest Non-Profit Hospitals in Montana Range From $249k to $581k

CEOs at Montana's largest non-profit hospitals had varying salaries and compensation packages for fiscal years 2009 and 2010, ranging from $249,000 per year to $581,000 per year, according to a Missoulian report.

Surgeons, radiologists and oncologists were some of the highest earners at Montana's non-profit hospitals, earning between $500,000 and $1.2 million per year.

Here are the annual compensation figures for some non-profit hospital CEOs in Montana in fiscal year 2009 or 2010:

•    Nick Wolter, MD, CEO of Billings (Mont.) Clinic:  $581,000
•    John Goodnow, CEO of Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Mont.:  $579,000
•    David Henry, CEO of Northern Montana Health Care in Havre:  $354,000
•    Chuck Wright, CEO of St. James Healthcare in Butte, Mont.:  $249,000
