The 148 physicians participating in 2016 each pocketed an additional payment totaling from under $1,000 to $5,000-plus, depending on their performance on quality measures. More than 27,000 BCBSAZ commercial plan members received treatment from the ACO providers during the year.
Since launching in 2016, the BCBSAZ Shared Savings Program has grown to 725-plus providers who treat more than 45,000 BCBSAZ members.
