The platform’s market research team surveyed 15,669 U.S. professionals from June 15 to Sept. 20 to assess workers’ satisfaction with pay.

- Engineering — 54% feel well compensated for their work
- Program and project management — 54%
- Finance — 52%
- Research — 51%
- Quality assurance — 51%
- Human resources — 51%
- Business development — 51%
- Product management — 50%
- Consulting — 49%
- Information technology — 48%
LinkedIn noted that job function is just one of many factors that can inform pay satisfaction. Previous surveys have found that older workers are more satisfied with pay than younger employees. Remote and hybrid workers also tend to be happier with their pay than their on-site colleagues.
