To compile the list, CNBC gathered data on the highest median salaries for 25 occupations from U.S. News & World Report‘s 2018 Best Jobs list and the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In all, 15 of the 25 highest paying jobs on the list are in the healthcare industry.
