Robert Broermann
Senior Vice President and CFO of Sentara Healthcare (Norfolk, Va.)
Mr. Broermann joined Sentara Healthcare, a 12-hospital system with locations in Virginia and North Carolina, in 1998 after its merger with Virginia Beach, Va.-based Tidewater Health Care, where Mr. Broermann served as CFO. He was appointed CFO of Sentara Healthcare in 2001. Before joining Tidewater Health Care, Mr. Broermann was a senior audit manager at Coopers & Lybrand. A certified public accountant and a fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Mr. Broermann earned an MBA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk.
