John Kueven. COO of Memorial Hermann Katy (Texas) Hospital. Mr. Kueven has accomplished numerous tasks during his relatively short time as COO of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. After taking the position in 2014, he led a $120 million expansion project, which doubled the size of the hospital. He also helped implement numerous programs — including a joint center program and a hospitalist program — and guided the hospital to improve its patient safety scores. Prior to becoming COO, Mr. Kueven was executive director of the hospital’s operations. He previously served in leadership capacities at Boston Children’s Hospital and Tupelo-based North Mississippi Medical Center.
