John B. Chessare, MD. President and CEO of Greater Baltimore Medical Center. As president and CEO of GBMC, a position he has held since June 2010, Dr. Chessare oversees a group of more than 40 multi-specialty physician practices, a 270-bed hospital, a hospice organization and the GBMC Foundation. He previously held executive leadership positions at Boston Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine, Albany Medical Center/Albany Medical College in New York, the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and Caritas Christi Health Care system in Boston. He is a board-certified pediatrician and an American College of Healthcare Executives fellow.
