Eric W. Dickson, MD. President and CEO of UMass Memorial Health Care (Worcester, Mass.). Dr. Dickson, an emergency medicine physician, took the reins at UMass Memorial Health Care, a system with 1,125 beds and 3,000 registered nurses, in 2013. Prior to his current role, Dr. Dickson was president of the subsidiary UMass Memorial Medical Group and senior associate dean at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he also earned his medical degree. Dr. Dickson also was a professor of emergency medicine at UMass Medical School and a practicing emergency department physician at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
