Akram Boutros, MD. President and CEO of The MetroHealth System (Cleveland). Dr. Boutros earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn and is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Prior to joining The MetroHealth System in 2013, he garnered experience in New York hospitals as well as at Business First Healthcare Solutions, a healthcare advisory firm. Outside of leading MetroHealth, Dr. Boutros serves on the boards of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, United Way of Greater Cleveland, the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation and the Cleveland Ballet.
