University of Texas Medical Branch Opens Children’s Hospital

The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston has opened its new Children’s Hospital on the 10th floor of John Sealy Hospital, according to a Galveston County Daily News report.

The UTMB Health Children’s Hospital features a child life program, which will promote coping through play, preparation and education and will provide emotional support.
