Optum will help eliminate a backlog of “change of circumstance” issues. The backlog stems from the state-run health exchange website not allowing users to notify insurance companies of divorces, marriages, births, address changes and other changes in life circumstances.
Approximately 10,000 Vermont residents are affected by the change of circumstance glitch, according to the report.
