WVUH filed a certificate of need request for the $248 million expansion earlier this year, and Mon Health requested a state hearing as an affected party.
As part of the agreement, WVUH will limit its new patient tower to 114 beds, down from the 139 it originally proposed. Following the agreement, Mon Health retracted its request for a hearing.
