TriStar Summit Med Center to Expand Stroke, Hip Care

TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn., will end inpatient psychiatric care with plans to convert the 20 beds for use with stroke and knee and hip replacement patients, according to a report in The Tennessean.

Nashville, Tenn.-based TriStar Health System, the hospital’s parent, will consolidate inpatient psychiatric care at two of its other area hospitals, according to the report.
