The hospital will be built on an approximately 12-acre site in the northwest part of city’s Riverwalk at Central Park, with plans for the hospital to open in the first quarter of 2010. THR and TpHR were joined by a group of more than 80 local physicians to build the facility.
The hospital is expected to provide approximately 100 patient beds, an emergency department and a wide range of medical services including services for women and children, and is expected to provide between 500 and 600 new jobs in the area by its third year of operation.
