St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital in California Considers New Women’s Center

St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo, Calif., part of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, is considering building a women’s center, according to a Ventura County Star report.

The center would offer comprehensives health services, including hormonal replacement therapy, mammograms, pain management, acupuncture, preventive services and education, according to the report.

The hospital is considering building the facility across the street from the hospital, according to the report.

St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital is planning on closing its obstetrics unit Nov. 1 due to insufficient volumes.
