The project includes plans to add hospital beds, expand the hospital’s intensive care unit, update most of the departments to meet industry standards and relocate care facilities.
The project is yet to receive approval from the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. The multi-phased project is scheduled to be completed by 2017, according to the report.
