South Lake Hospital Breaks Ground on $8M Expansion

South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Fla., has begun construction on its new $8 million skilled nursing unit, according to a Daily Commercial report.

The new facility will provide rehabilitative, short-term care for patients who have undergone some type of orthopedic surgery, according to the report.

The addition will add 26,000 square feet and is expected to bring around 45 or 50 jobs to the hospital.
