As part of the definitive agreement, Swedish has agreed to invest between $90 million and $150 million in the public hospital, including expansions of services and the addition of a $15 million electronic medical record system, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, the hospital district would continue to exist to provide additional community health services. The deal requires regulatory approvals, which are expected to be completed by early fall, according to the release.
