GPRMC plans to expand an atrium into a 220,000-square-foot tower that will include 112 private patient rooms, a kitchen, a cafeteria and three conference rooms. The IT server room will be demolished to make room for the expansion and will move into a new, smaller addition, which will also temporarily house the same-day surgery waiting room.
Construction is expected to be completed by 2015.
