Sacred Heart Hospital Plans $50M Renovation

Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pa., has unveiled plans for a $50 million renovation of its campus, according to a report by The Morning Call.

The renovation plans include replacing nursing stations with pods and implementing an electronic health record system. The renovation is expected to generate 250 new jobs.

The redesign is scheduled to begin in the fall, according to the report.
